The Inland Empire is home to all types of date-goers, and thankfully there is something fun for everyone. Starting off the week with horse riding lessons will bring romance to those who are country at heart. For food lovers, Taco Thursday at a local brewery will do the trick. If you’re a mountain dweller, then look no further than the comedy stage in Big Bear. No matter what your style is we have a night out suitable to your taste.

7/28, Horse Riding Lessons – Guided Trail Rides at Everything Equine in Norco. Trails are $25 to $75 per person, call or text to schedule your ride. Saddle up, and get ready to see the city of Norco aback a trusty steed. Choose to take your tranquil ride through the riverbed, or opt to see the sun set over a city view, among your choice of many other paths.



7/29, Farm Fresh Dinner – The Farm to Table Experience at Sheraton Fairplex Hotel in Pomona at 6p.m. Price is $45 for non-members and $35 for members. The Chief Horticulturist from The Farm at Fairplex uses garden fresh, organic vegetables and herbs in delicious health conscious dishes prepared for you to delight in. Paired with complimentary wines, don’t miss this outdoor escape into taste.



7/30, Rock Concert– New Manners at Rhino Records in Claremont at 6p.m. As part of the popular 2014 Summer Concert Series, the indie rock band New Manners will be performing in-store at Rhino Records. Hailing from Pomona, this band ensures a great turnout as regulars in the downtown village scene.



7/31, Tacos and Beers – Taco Thursday at Dale Bros. Brewery in Upland at 6p.m. Cruz-N-Tacos is the perfect pairing to the year-round brews from this local brewery. You’re already familiar with their ever-popular California Amber Lager called Pomona Queen. So if you have a taste for hops, their Runway IPA with its grounded malt flavor is another impressive seasonal brew.

7/31, Art Exhibit – “California Dreamin’: Thirty Years of Collecting” at Palm Springs Art Museum from 12p.m. to 8p.m. Admission is free from 4p.m. to 8p.m, otherwise it is $12.50 for adults and $5 for students. Over many decades, the museum has acquired a multifaceted collection of works. Captivating visitors since March, this will be your final chance to enjoy this extensive assortment of artwork, as it is the exhibition’s last day.



8/1, Tribute Bands – Shrouds and Shadows Summer Tour at Romano’s Concert Lounge in Riverside. Doors open at 9p.m. Show starts at 10:30p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Ages 21 and over. Three energetic cover bands will tear the roof off the Concert Lounge. Get ready to be impressed by tributes to Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy and Siouxsie & The Banshees.

8/1, Comedy Show – Comedy Night at The Cave in Big Bear. Doors open at 6p.m. and show starts at 7:30p.m. Tickets are from $15 to $30. Hosted by the hilarious Ryan Reaves, this night of all things funny is sure to be side splitting good. We can almost guarantee you’ll laugh harder than you ever have in your life with comedian guests like Eileen Kalo and Mike Tsirklin gracing the stage.
