Hi Friends & Neighbors –

There is a huge misconception that the best events only take place on the weekends. Don’t worry, we have found Inland Empire fun for those days that begin with the letter S. Take a peek at what this week has to offer, and we can promise you more fun than any typical Saturday or Sunday adventure. If Monday is your Friday, then karaoke and drinks may be your scene. And why wouldn’t you break up the monotony of your child’s school week while exercising their imagination at Seussical the Musical?

Here’s to a great week!

8/25, Karaoke – Dream Karaoke at Lake Alice Trading Co. in Riverside at 9p.m. Forget American Idol, your singing voice is sure to impress the loyal patrons that frequent this scene. And even if it doesn’t, hostesses Stacia and Nicole will keep the audience distracted. So sing your lungs out, and have a great time.

8/26, Indoor Go-Cart Racing – Go Carts at Fast Lap in Ontario from 10a.m. to 11p.m. Price is $18 per race or three races for $40, Monday through Thursday. With your pedal to the metal and the wind in your hair, you will forget you are not racing down the pavement in a full-size vehicle. Rather, you will be setting records and racing your date at this indoor haven for excitement.

8/27, Art Exhibit “Large as Life” at the AMOCA in Pomona from 12p.m. to 5p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for students or seniors and free for children 12 and under. Duck out a little early to view the work of three talented female sculptors. Clay is transformed into various forms of life by Betty Davenport, Elaine Katzer and Lisa Reinertson, all of whom are inspirational artists.

8/27, Dog-Friendly Baseball Game – Bark in the Ballpark for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Game at LoanMart Field in Rancho Cucamonga at 6:45p.m. General admission is $9-$13, with a $3 admission per pet. Peanuts, crackerjacks, baseball and your pup—there is nothing better than spending quality time with your family, pets included.

8/28, Musical Performance – Suessical the Musical at Life House Theater in Redlands at 7:30p.m. Tickets for adults are $15-$18, children are $8-$10. Dr. Suess has added more color and imagination to kids’ lives than television could ever come close to doing. Watch their little eyes light up as the Cat in the Hat brings the magical story of Horton the elephant to life.
