Here’s Céad Míle Fáilte to friend and to rover
That’s a greeting that’s Irish as Irish can be
It means you are welcome
A thousand times over
Wherever you come from, Whosoever you be

Hi neighbors!

Hope you enjoyed the Irish welcome above.  St. Patty’s Day is around the corner and boy-o are there a lot of events happening in the Inland Empire.  We’ll cut to the chase  and get right to it.  We’ve organized the list below by region.  We thought this would be helpful but if not don’t hesitate to let us know in our comments section.

* Rock out at the Mission Tobacco Lounge with local Riverside band Still Dreadful on St. Patty’s Day.

* Where’s the largest St. Patty’s Day party in the Inland Empire?  Killarney’s in Riverside and Temecula!  Raffle prizes like free dinner once a week for a year!  Costume contest, Irish dancers, festival games and of course beer, beer, beer.

* St. Paw-tricks Day!  It’s the 20th annual Walk with the Animals at Fairmount Park.  Lots of fun activities, bake sale, doggie costume contest and more!  Oh, and to make this event even cooler?  There’s a pancake breakfast and Irish Dancers!

* Don’t miss the 10th Anniversary of the Los Angeles County Irish Fair at the Pomona Fairplex.  It is the largest fair of its kind in Southern California.  A parade, loads of bands, vendors, demonstrations and the list goes on.  Check out the schedule of events here.

* Have a Shameless McDale Green Irish Red Ale from the fine brewers at Dale Bros. Brewery in Upland.  First hand experience, had a taste at the Upland HS Food Truck Frenzy and it was delish!

* Whoa!  Free beer giveaway at Hangar 24 from 7-8 a.m.  Everyone who arrives gets a 20 oz.  Hangar 24 St. Patrick’s Day Imperial Pint glass.

* Celebrate St. Patty’s with the family at the San Bernardino St. Patrick’s Day Festival held outside the California Theater of the Performing Arts.  A two day festival celebrates everything Irish with Best Irish Spirit Contest, food, dancers and song.

* Did you know that we have an Inland Empire Emerald Society?  Well, we do and they’re holding their 6th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party in Norco as a fundraiser for the Fallen Officer Memorial Fund.   Purchase tickets and you can find great entertainment, food and lots of raffle prizes!

* Maybe green beer isn’t really your speed.  How about doing some good and contributing for your community?  The Ontario Fire Department is holding a special event on St. Patty’s Day for Steven’s Hope for Children.  Join them at El Torito for some food, entertainment and prizes.

* Grand opening of Dillon’s Restaurant & Irish Pub at The Shoppes at Chino Hills with bagpipers and leprachauns.  There’s loads more fun stuff like green beer, Irish bangers eating contest, a raffle and more!

* Beaumont-Cherry Valley Rotary Club and Rotaract Club present a traditional Irish meal of corned beef and cabbage at the Grange Community Center in Cherry Valley.  Tickets are $25/person.

* 12th Annual Old Town Temecula Bluegrass Festival is happening St. Patrick’s Day weekend.  Old Town Temecula will be buzzing with lots of excitement  and music in the air with free concerts and impromptu performances.
