Hi Friends & Neighbors!

With so many area schools already out on summer break, you’ll have plenty of time to take in some of the great and fun Inland Empire activities. Gethsemane Lutheran Church’s Spring Festival is all-day Saturday, as is the 17th Annual Kronenburg Old World Festival.

Indoor fun includes a production of “Peter Pan Jr.” in Riverside, a FREE children’s movie in Corona and more!

5/30, UCR Chancellor’s Symposia – Learn more about “The Public University in the 21st Century” from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday at Genomics Auditorium in Riverside.  FREE.

5/30, “Peter Pan Jr.”Riverside Christian Elementary Musical Theater Arts presents “Peter Pan Jr.” at 7 p.m. Friday. Ticket prices vary.

5/31, New Adventures in Old Riverside – Enjoy an awe-inspiring hunt through Riverside beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday with CityRace. $40 per person.

5/31, Spring Festival – Gethsemane Lutheran Church holds its Spring Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Riverside. Admission is FREE.

6/1, Food Truck and Car Show – The AEF Inaugural Food Truck and Car Show begins at 9 a.m. Sunday at Orrenmaa Elementary School in Riverside.  Vendor booths, entertainment, special guests and more. Admission is $5 for spectators and pedal bikes, $10 for motor bikes and $15 for cars.

5/31, Dos Lagos Stadium 15 –  The FREE Saturday Family Film Series continues this weekend with “The Nut Job.”  The movie starts at 10 a.m. at the Corona theater.

Thru 6/15, 17th Annual Kronenburg Old World Festival – Experience the daily life during the Renaissance Era at Corona’s annual faire. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays and Memorial Day. Admission is $13 for adults; $10 for children/seniors; under 5 is FREE. Festival is held at Crossroads Riverview Park.


5/30, Movie in the Park – Bring the family to a FREE screening of “Planes” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2”  at 6 p.m. Friday at Ed Hales Park in historic Downtown Redlands.

5/31, Relay for Life – Redlands Relay for Life 2014 kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday at Redlands East Valley High School. List of scheduled events is available online.

5/31, Car Show and Chili Cook-Off – The 2014 Redlands Optimist Car Show, Chili Cook-Off and Food Truck Event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Sylvan Park. Suggested donation is $5; 12 and younger are FREE.

5/30, Pomona Night Out – Join the Art Walk, check out the vendors, enjoy the live music and have some free fun starting at 5 p.m. Friday in Pomona.

5/31, Claremont Folk Festival – Annual folk fest runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden. Tickets start at $40; children under 12 are FREE. Various folk performers, art vendors, food and fun!

5/31, Community Festival – The 2014 CommUnity Festival in San Bernardino runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Perris Hill Park in San Bernardino. Admission is FREE.

5/31, Collectors Street Faire – Downtown Pomona’s Antique Row plays hosts to the Collectors Street Faire from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. What treasures will you find?

Thru 6/1, Gem and Mineral Show – The CFMS Gem & Mineral Show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Fairplex in Pomona. Admission is $5; seniors and military is $4, children 13-17 is $3; 12 and  younger are FREE.



5/30, Farmer’s Market – Enjoy Victoria’s Farmers Market & Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday on South Main Street in Rancho Cucamonga.

5/31, Ben Vereen Show – “Steppin’ Out with Ben Vereen” begins at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Lewis Family Playhouse in Rancho Cucamonga. Tickets are $65.

5/31, Art Festival – The 2014 Falcon Art Festival is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Falcon Ridge Town Center.

6/1, Old Miners Gala – The Old Miners 65th Anniversary Gala is from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at The Bear Cave Event Center at Bear Creek Resort.

Thru 5/31, “Hello Dolly” – This legendary musical runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. through Saturday at Old Town Temecula Community Theater. Tickets start at $20.

5/31, Teddy Bear Picnic – To keep with the “Bear in Mind” exhibit, the Temecula Valley Museum hosts a Teddy Bear Picnic at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Admission is FREE.
